Matt Rouse
LEAD STORYTELLER & DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Matt's passion for the art of filmmaking began at the age of 13. He has now been in the professional production world for 8 years, starting in a job creating content for a church in Virginia to being the head of video production at Furman University. He is passionate about the art of lighting and cinematography and leverages those skill sets to help businesses build their brands. He and his wife, Meredith, also run a luxury wedding film company, Matt & Meredith Films.

We want to learn everything about your goals and vision for this project: target audience, customer action steps, what you want to communicate, etc. Together we brainstorm ideas, and come up with a shot list and script. Before we even hit record on the camera, we know every shot we need to capture.
PLANNING
Now, it’s time to start filming! We hire the crew and rent the gear necessary to make your video the best it can be. On the day of the shoot, we arrive early to coordinate with everyone involved and setup the scene to be filmed. In order to get the footage you are hoping for, we highly recommend that you join us on set.

PRODUCTION
In the final step, we assemble the footage to best tell the story, mix the sound, license the music and color grade the images to fit the style of your brand and the mood of the story you want to tell. You will get the chance to offer feedback and request any revisions before the final delivery of your video.
